What Is Abilene Bible Church?
Abilene Bible Church is a local assembly of believers operating on the basis of the principles set forth in the New Testament and at the direction of the Holy Spirit. Based on the belief that men should know the Word of God and not just about the Word of God, Abilene Bible Church is committed to the verse by verse exposition of the Word of God, according to Nehemiah 8:8
"So they read in the book of the law of God distinctly,
and gave the sense and caused them to understand the reading."

Dr. Tim Temple has been the pastor of Abilene Bible Church since 1978. He has retired and will be moving to Dallas. Our new pastor, Daiqing Yuan, will be joining us in July. He and his family will be moving to Abilene from Denton. Dr. Yuan is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminiary.
